Water Deflector Replacement - End Gate

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate (Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate) .
2. Remove the endgate water deflector.
3. Clean endgate surface using GM P/N 3984 adhesive remover or equivalent.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the endgate door water deflector to the endgate inner panel.
2. Secure the water deflector at the corners.
3. Install the endgate water deflector, start pressing the adhesive pattern at the bottom center and working outward and upward in order to prevent puckering.
4. Install the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate (Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate) .
