Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front bucket seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket (Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to the following procedures:

* Seat Replacement - Rear Bucket (Seat Replacement - Rear Bucket)
* Seat Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split (Seat Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split)

3. Remove the rear seats anchor plate bezels. Refer to Carpet Trim Plate Replacement - Rear Floor (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the rear cargo tray anchors, if equipped.
5. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Rendezvous) (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the front and rear door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) and Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair) .
7. Remove the front cowl trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side (Service and Repair) .
8. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
9. Remove the rear lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower (Rendezvous) (Service and Repair) .
10. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Install the carpet into the vehicle.
Reach under the carpet and feed through any electrical harness.
2. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower (Rendezvous) (Service and Repair) .
3. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the front and rear door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) and Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the front cowl trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor (Rendezvous) (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the rear seats anchor plate bezels. Refer to Carpet Trim Plate Replacement - Rear Floor (Service and Repair) .
8. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket (Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
9. Install the rear seats. Refer to the following procedures:

* Seat Replacement - Rear Bucket (Seat Replacement - Rear Bucket)
* Seat Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split (Seat Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split)

10. Install the rear cargo tray anchors, if equipped.
