Sunroof / Moonroof Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Gently pry open the roof console trim plate (1).
2. Remove the fastener (2) retaining the roof console (3) to the headliner.
3. Gently pull rearward the roof console to release from the locking tabs (4).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power sunroof switch.




6. Disconnect the retaining tabs securing the switch to the root console.

Remove the switch (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the switch (1).
2. Push the switch into the locking tabs on the root console to secure.
3. Connect the electrical connector.




4. Position the roof console in the opening. Make sure locking tabs (4) are secure.
5. Install the fastener (2) to secure the roof console (3) to the headliner.
6. Install the roof console trim plate (1).
