Upper
1.
Support vehicle by frame, remove tire and wheel assembly.
2.
Position jack to support lower control arm.
3.
Disconnect upper
ball joint as described in ``Ball Joints, Replace.''
4.
Remove upper
control arm pivot bolts, then remove control arm from vehicle.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque upper
control arm pivot bolts to 47 ft. lbs.
