Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Bracket

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE BRACKET REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove right exhaust pipe.
2. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve cooler tube to bracket (2) bolts.




3. Remove the EGR bracket to cylinder head bolts (1).
4. Remove the bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Remove the bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the EGR bracket to cylinder head bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).




3. Install the EGR valve cooler tube to bracket (2) bolts.

Tighten
Tighten bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

4. Install right exhaust pipe.
