Engine Oil Tank Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection

Removal Procedure





1. Using a suitable tool lift and remove the quick connect fitting circlip (2) from the quick connect fitting (1).





2. Disengage the oil hose/pipe (2) from the quick connect fitting (1).

3. Inspect the oil hose/pipe (2) and the quick connect fitting (1) for signs of wear or damage. Replace the components if necessary.

Installation Procedure





Note:
Apply a few drops of clean engine oil to the oil hose/pipe (2) prior to engaging it into the quick connect fitting (1).

1. Engage the oil hose/pipe (2) into the quick connect fitting (1).





Note:
Make sure the quick connect fitting circlip (2) securely seats into the quick connect fitting (1).

Note:
To ensure the oil hose/pipe (3) has securely engaged into the quick connect fitting (1) push and pull on the oil hose/pipe to ensure the it is securely installed into the quick connect fitting.

2. Install the quick connect fitting circlip (2) to the quick connect fitting (1)
