LPG Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (3 Tank)

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the fuel tank. Refer to LPG Tank Drain and Evacuation Service and Repair.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.




3. Remove the LPG fuel tank access cover bolts (1).

4. Remove the LPG fuel tank access cover (2) and seal (3) from the LPG fuel tank.




5. Remove the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module hose clamp (1).

6. Remove the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module hose (2).




7. Remove the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module nuts (1).

8. Remove the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module nuts (1) and tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb ft).




3. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module hose (2).

4. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module hose clamp (1).




5. Install the LPG fuel tank access cover (2) and seal (3) to the LPG fuel tank.

6. Install the LPG fuel tank access cover bolts (1). and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).

7. Lower the vehicle.

8. Purge the fuel tank. Refer to LPG Tank Purge Service and Repair.
