Power Seat Motor: Service and Repair

LUMBAR

REMOVAL




1. Partially remove the seat back trim cover from the seat back frame for the procedure.
2. Disconnect the lumbar mechanism spring (3) and disconnect the cable (2) from the lumbar assembly (1).
3. Unsnap the lumbar assembly (1) from the seat back frame and remove from the seat.

INSTALLATION




1. Snap the lumbar assembly (1) on the seat back frame. Be careful not to break the retaining pins, if broken replace with new pieces.
2. Connect the lumbar cable (2) and connect the mechanism spring (3) on the lumbar assembly.
3. Install the seat back trim cover on the seat back frame for the appropriate procedure.
