Instrument Panel Silencer

SILENCER-INSTRUMENT PANEL

NOTE: LHD model shown in illustration. RHD model similar.

REMOVAL




1. Remove the three push-pin retainers (5) that secure the instrument panel silencer (2) to the bottom of the instrument panel (1).
2. Disengage the silencer retaining tab (3) from behind the top of the floor carpet (4) at the dash panel and remove the silencer.

INSTALLATION




1. Position the instrument panel silencer (2) underneath the passenger side of the instrument panel (1).
2. Engage the silencer retaining tab (3) behind the top of the floor carpet (4) at the dash panel.
3. Install the three push-pin retainers (5) that secure the instrument panel silencer to the bottom of the instrument panel.
