Fuel Tank Unit: Description and Operation

An auxiliary (capped) fuel supply fitting is located on the top of the fuel pump module. This fitting will be available only on the following models:

^ diesel powered models
^ models with the Heavy Duty 5.9 liter engine
^ models with the 8.0 liter engine
^ all chassis-cab models

This fitting supplies a non-pressurized auxiliary fuel source.
