Malfunction Lamp / Indicator: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
Illumination of the Airbag warning lamp is controlled by the Airbag Control Module (ACM). When the ACM detects a problem in the system it grounds the R41 circuit. This causes the lamp in the message center to illuminate.
