INSPECTION

Check Exhaust Manifold Mounting:

Inspect exhaust manifolds for damage or cracks and check distortion of the cylinder head mounting surface and exhaust cross-over mounting surface with a straightedge and thickness gauge.

CLEANING
Remove the gasket material from the manifold surfaces (if equipped). Be careful not to gouge or scratch the sealing surface.
