Symptom
System Control Mode Time-out

When Monitored:
1. Vehicle in anti lock control mode.

Set Condition:
2. Vehicle speed above 6 km/h (4 mph) for 2 seconds.
3. Criteria 1-2 satisfied for 120 consecutive controller checks spaced 1 second apart.

Possible Causes
- Brake lamp not working
- Brake pedal I/O status matching
- Brake switch sense circuit open
- Brake switch sense circuit short to ground
- Brake switch test light stays on
- Service brake switch defective
