SYMPTOM
P0711 - TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR, NO TEMPERATURE RISE AFTER START

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key ON and the engine running.

SET CONDITION
After 2 trips in which the transmission sump temperature is < 5 °C (40 °F) and does not rise more than 8 °C (16 °F) after 20 minutes of run time with vehicle speed > 48 km/h (30 mph). It will also set if the engine temperature is < 38 °C (100 °F) with transmission temperature > 127 °C (260 °F).

- Intermittent transmission temperature sensor
