Courtesy Lamp Bulb: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Insert a small flat bladed pry tool at the forward position between the reading/courtesy lamp lens and the lamp housing.
3. Pry the lamp lens from the housing.
4. Insert a small, flat bladed pry tool between the lamp light shield and the lamp housing at the inboard rear corner of the light shield.
5. Pry the lamp shield from the housing
6. Carefully press the forward lamp bulb contact toward the opposite contact and rotate.

7. Remove the bulb from the lamp housing.

INSTALLATION
1. Carefully press the forward lamp bulb contact toward the opposite contact and rotate the bulb into position.
2. Position the bulb to lamp bulb contacts.
3. Release the lamp bulb contacts.
4. Insert the outer edge of the light shield into the lamp housing.
5. Rotate the light shield upward and snap into place.
6. Position the lens switch tab to lamp switch.
7. Press the lens pivot to the tabs on the lamp housing until both of the pivots are seated.
