SYMPTOM
LIFTGATE POWER RELEASE OUTPUT SHORT

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously for non power liftgate vehicles

SET CONDITION
When the Body Control Module senses a low output on the Liftgate Release Driver circuit for longer than 125 ms during a liftgate release actuation.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- DTC present
- Body control module - liftgate release driver shorted
- Liftgate release driver wire short to ground
- Liftgate release motor shorted
