SYMPTOM
P0725 - ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT

WHEN MONITORED
Whenever the engine is running.

SET CONDITION
Engine speed less than 390 rpm or greater than 8000 rpm for more than 2 seconds while the engine is running.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- PCM CKP DTC's present
- Intermittent wiring & connectors
- Crankshaft position sensor ground circuit open
- Crankshaft position sensor signal circuit open
- TCM - engine speed sensor circuit
