Door Header And Pillar Trim Panels

DOOR HEADER AND PILLAR TRIM PANELS

WARNING: THESE TRIM PANELS MUST BE REMOVED AND INSTALLED IN THE SEQUENCE DESCRIBED IN THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE ADJOINING TRIM PANELS. DAMAGE OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF THESE TRIM PANELS DUE TO FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE PROCEDURES COULD RESULT IN INFERIOR OCCUPANT PROTECTION AND AN INCREASED RISK OF OCCUPANT INJURIES DURING A VEHICLE IMPACT.

REMOVAL

This modular unit is functional as well as cosmetic. Each of the trim panels in this modular unit incorporates integral structural reinforcements that are designed to reduce the potential for a harmful contact with the vehicle structural members beneath the trim by absorbing and distributing the energy from the vehicle occupants who might contact them during a vehicle impact.
