Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Install front axle assembly (1) into position. Install and torque seven bolts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).





2. Install power steering return line to cradle by fastening clips (1) as shown.





3. Install axle assembly support bracket (1) and torque bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
4. Install RH catalytic converter exhaust pipe assembly.
5. Install front propeller shaft.
6. Install intermediate shaft.
7. Install both front halfshafts.





8. Fill axle with 600ml (0.64 qts.) of Mopar 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lubricant. Fluid level should be at or near bottom of fill hole. Torque fill plug (1) to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
9. Lower vehicle.
