1. Drain cooling system below the thermostat level.
2. Remove radiator upper hose from the coolant outlet housing.
3. Remove coolant outlet housing bolts and housing (Figure 1).
4. Remove thermostat. Discard gasket and clean both gasket sealing surfaces.
