B2217 - EVIC/EOM/CMTC INTERNAL

- When Monitored:

With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:

The Compass Temperature Module (Electronic Overhead Module / EOM) detects an internal failure.





Diagnostic Test

1.VERIFY OPERATION OF THE COMPASS TEMPERATURE MODULE

Turn the ignition on.

With the scan tool, erase Compass Temperature Module (EOM) DTCs.

With the scan tool, activate the Compass Temperature Module (EOM) self test.

With the scan tool, read Compass Temperature Module (EOM) DTCs.

Does the scan tool display DTC: B2217-EVIC/EOM/CMTC INTERNAL?

Yes

- Replace the Compass Temperature Module (EOM).
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST-VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- Test complete.
