Antenna - Installation

INSTALLATION

RADIO

NOTE: A battery reconnect procedure must be performed anytime the battery has been disconnected. Battery Reconnection .

1. Connect, route and secure the new antenna harness along the same route as the old antenna cable.
2. Position the carpet back.
3. Connect the antenna cable to instrument panel antenna cable.
4. Install the driver side C-pillar trim panel C-Pillar Trim Panel-Installation.
5. Install the driver side front and rear door scuff plates Scuff Plate - Installation.
6. Install the driver side cowl trim panel Cowl Trim Panel - Installation.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.

SATELLITE AUDIO ONLY

NOTE: The antenna cables are integrated into the body harnesses. New antenna cables come as a overlay to the body harness.





1. Connect the antenna connectors (1) (2). Route and secure the new antenna harness along the same route as the old antenna cable.

2. Raise the rear headliner back into place Headliner - Installation. SEDAN
3. Connect the antennas to the antenna module.
4. Install the silencing pad.
5. Install the trunk welt Trunk Welt - Installation. WAGON
6. Connect the antennas to the antenna module.
7. Install the silencing pad.
8. Install the driver side quarter trim panel . ALL
9. Connect the negative battery cable.

SATELLITE AUDIO/VIDEO

AUDIO CABLE TO MODULE





1. Connect the antenna connectors(1) (2). Route and secure the new antenna harness along the same route as the old antenna cable.

2. Raise the rear headliner back into place Headliner - Installation. SEDAN
3. Connect the antennas to the antenna module.
4. Install the silencing pad.
5. Install the trunk welt Trunk Welt - Installation. WAGON
6. Connect the antennas to the antenna module.
7. Install the silencing pad.
8. Install the driver side quarter trim panel . ALL
9. Connect the negative battery cable.

VIDEO CABLE TO MODULE





1. Connect, route and secure the new antenna harness along the same route as the old antenna cable.
2. Connect the video antenna cable (1) to the antenna pigtail (2), in the A-pillar (3).

3. Raise the front of the headliner back into place Headliner - Installation.
4. Install the passenger side front and rear door scuff plates Scuff Plate - Installation.
5. Install the passenger side cowl trim panel Cowl Trim Panel - Installation. SEDAN
6. Connect the antennas from the antenna module.
7. Install the silencing pad.
8. Install the trunk welt Trunk Welt - Installation. WAGON
9. Connect the antennas from the antenna module.
10. Install the silencing pad.
11. Install the right quarter trim panel . ALL
12. Install the passenger side C-pillar trim panel C-Pillar Trim Panel-Installation.
13. Connect the negative battery cable.

SIGNAL FEED ANTENNA CABLE FROM MODULE TO RADIO

1. Connect, route and secure the new antenna harness along the same route as the old antenna cable.
2. Install the radio Radio - Installation.
3. Install the steering column opening Steering Column Opening Cover - Installation.
4. Install the driver side silencer panel Silencer Panel - Installation.
5. Install the driver side front and rear door scuff plates Scuff Plate - Installation.
6. Install the driver upper and lower cowl trim panelsCowl Trim Panel - Installation. SEDAN
7. Connect the antennas from the antenna module.
8. Install the silencing pad.
9. Install the trunk welt Trunk Welt - Installation. WAGON
10. Connect the antennas from the antenna module.
11. Install the silencing pad.
12. Install the right quarter trim panel . ALL
13. Install the passenger side C-pillar trim panel C-Pillar Trim Panel-Installation.
14. Connect the negative battery cable.
