Oil Cooler and Lines - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Disconnect both negative battery cables.
2. Drain the coolantService and Repair.





3. Remove air cleaner assemblyAir Cleaner Body - Removal.










4. Remove the generator. Generator - Removal





5. Disconnect the breather hose (3).
6. Loosen the clamp (1) and remove the outlet tube (2) from the turbocharger.





7. Loosen clamp and disconnect the charge air inlet tube (4) from the turbocharger.





8. Loosen the clamp (2), disconnect the charge inlet tube (3) from Charge Air Cooler (CAC) (1) and remove charge inlet tube (3).





9. Remove the coolant outlet tube bracket bolt (1).





10. Remove the coolant outlet tube bracket nut (1).





11. Remove the front coolant tube bolt (2).





12. Remove the two bracket bolts.





13. Using a suitable pair of channel lock pliers, separate the top connection of the front coolant tube from the EGR cooler.





14. Disconnect the front coolant tube (1) from the lower radiator port and remove the front coolant outlet tube (1).





15. Remove the turbocharger oil supply line from oil cooler housing.





16. Remove the oil filterEngine Oil Filter - Removal.
17. Remove and remove the 14 oil cooler cap crews and remove oil cooler housing and oil cooler from engine block.
