Outer Tie Rod End






OUTER TIE ROD END

Special Tools:











NOTE: Do not twist the boot anytime during removal or installation.

1. Loosen the jam nut (4).
2. Remove the outer tie rod end nut (1) from the ball stud of the outer tie rod (3).





3. Separate the outer tie rod end (4) from the steering knuckle (2) using Tie Rod Puller (1).

NOTE: Count the number of turns when removing the tie rod end as a reference point for installation.

4. Remove the outer tie rod end (4) from the inner tie rod.
