BULB - SECOND OR THIRD ROW

CAUTION: Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.






NOTE: The second and third row seating incandescent dome and the aimable Light Emitting Diode (LED) map/reading lamps are integral to the dome lamp housing (1) in the headliner above the second and third row seating. The dome lamp is turned ON and OFF by the door ajar switches or by the interior lighting thumbwheel of the headlamp switch. The LED map/reading lamps are turned ON or OFF independently by the two map/reading lamp push button switches integral to the dome lamp housing. The incandescent dome lamp bulb is serviceable; however, the LED map/reading lamps as well as the switches, the lamp housing, the lens and the wiring are serviced only as a unit with the dome lamp assembly.

1. Align the base of the bulb (2) with the socket within the dome lamp housing (1).
2. Carefully press the bulb firmly and evenly into the socket until the base is firmly seated.





3. Align the lens (2) with the dome lamp housing (1), then press upward on the lens firmly and evenly until it snaps into the housing.
4. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
