Rear Camber Link - Description

DESCRIPTION

NOTE: The camber links (2) are left/right specific but could be installed incorrectly. Be sure that the bushing bevel is located at and against the knuckle, and that the camber link (1) curves down in the center when installed.

The camber link (2) is connected between the cradle and the top of the knuckle with a bonded bushing on each end. The bushings are serviced with a new link only. On the knuckle side of the link, the bushing is not between two parts of a bracket. Because of this the bolt (3) has a captive washer that will hold the bushing/link in place if the bonding were to separate from the link. On the cradle side of the link a cam bolt (1) is used for alignment purposes. Make sure that the proper bolts and nuts are used when servicing.

The bushing (2) on the knuckle side of the link (3) has a beveled edge (1) on one side. The link (3) must be installed so that the beveled edge (1) contacts and seats within the recessed area of the knuckle.
