Power Liftgate Chime - Description

DESCRIPTION





Vehicles equipped with a power liftgate utilize a chime (2). The chime (2) is a small cylindrical shaped electrical component mounted on the lower left D-Pillar assembly under the left quarter trim panel and can be accessed through the jack stowage compartment door. The chime produces the audible chime sound heard at the rear of the vehicle at the start of a power liftgate cycle.

The chime cannot be adjusted or repaired and if damaged or inoperative must be replaced.
