SUBJECT:
Left Upper B-Pillar Trim Cap May Not Be Fully Seated

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves inspecting the upper b-pillar interior trim cap and if necessary replacing the upper b-pillar trim.

MODELS:

2011 (DS) RAM 1500 Pickup

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles built after January 03, 2011 (MDH0103XXX) and before January 05, 2011 (MDH0105XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Left upper b-pillar trim cap is may not be fully seated.

DIAGNOSIS:
If the symptom/condition is experienced proceed to the repair procedure.





PARTS REQUIRED:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:





1. Inspect the left upper b-pillar trim cap and verify it is fully seated (Fig. 1). Was it fully seated?

a. Yes >>> Return the vehicle to the customer or dealer inventory.

b. No >>> Proceed to Step # 2.

2. Remove and replace the left upper b-pillar trim. Refer to the detailed Removal and Installation procedures available in DealerCONNECT > TechCONNECT > : Service Info > 23-Body > Interior > PANEL, B-Pillar Trim, Upper > Removal/Installation.

3. Return the vehicle to the customer or dealer inventory.

Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
