Front Air Inlet Housing

NOTE:
LHD model shown. RHD model similar.

1. If required, install the recirculation-air door and recirculation door actuator (5) onto the air inlet housing (1). Tighten the actuator retaining screws to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.).

NOTE:
If the foam seal on the top of the inlet housing is deformed or damaged, the seal must be replaced.

2. Position the air inlet housing onto the top of the HVAC housing (3).

3. Install the five screws (2) that secure the air inlet housing to the HVAC housing. Tighten the screws to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.).

4. Connect the HVAC wire harness (4) to the recirculation door actuator.

5. Install the HVAC housing HVAC Housing - Installation.
