Intermittent Signal to Antilock Control Unit During Decel

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Intermittent open or shorted sensor circuit.


ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Perform Intermittent Diagnosis for Circuits 514 (Y/R), 516 (Y/BK), 521 (T/O), 522 (T/BK), 519 (LG/BK), and 523 (R/PK).

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Intermittent open sensor circuit at intermediate connections especially bulkhead.


ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Perform Intermittent Diagnosis for Circuits 514 (Y/R), 516 (Y/BK), 521 (T/O), 522 (T/BK), 519 (LG/BK), and 523 (R/PK) at intermediate connectors.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Chafed wire insulation or pinched wire due to improper routing causing intermittent short.


ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Inspect wiring harness from front sensor on knuckle to the frame and from the rear axle to the frame for worn or chafed wire insulation.
