D2 Check Proper Valve Resistance at Control Module Connector

- Key Off.

- Install 60-pin breakout box. Make sure the correct Econoline 4WABS overlay is installed.

- Measure valve resistance between 60-pin breakout box Pins 33 and 37.

- Was resistance measured between 1-3 ohms and Code C1194 or C1196 obtained in Step D1?

YES -- Go to D3.

NO -- Less than 1 ohm and Code C1196 was obtained. Low resistance detected. Go to D5 to determine fault location.

More than 3 ohms and Code C1194 was obtained. High resistance detected. Go to D5 to determine fault location.
