X3 Check Rear Axle Isolation Valve Operation

CAUTION: Do not leave ignition On for more than 30 seconds with the jumper installed.

- With vehicle set-up according to Step X2, turn ignition On.

- Apply brake and have assistant try to turn wheel.

- Does wheel turn now?

YES -- Valve is OK. Return to Diagnosis by Symptom.

NO -- Replace HCU. Perform Zero Speed ABS Test using Rotunda New Generation Star (NGS) Tester 007-00500. Go to Pinpoint Test Z to verify concern is resolved.
