- Key Off.

Fluid Level Switch Connector:

- Disconnect parking brake switch harness connector.

- Key On.

- Does the brake warning indicator turn On?

YES -- Key Off. Locate and service short to ground in Circuit 977 (P/W), 640 (R/Y), 531 (DG/Y), or 162. Reconnect all loose connections. Repeat B1.

NO -- Key Off. Replace parking brake switch. Reconnect all loose connections. Repeat B1.
