Battery Discharge Protection Relay: Description and Operation

The following components are controlled by the battery saver relay:

- Interior lamps
- Under hood lamp
- Glove compartment lamp
- Interior lamp relay
- Accessory delay relay

The battery saver relay becomes active (relay coil is energized) when the GEM is in the awake mode, and is deactivated (relay coil is de-energized) in the sleep mode.
