Fuel Injector Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Remove the upper intake manifold.






2. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.






3. Disconnect the engine bulkhead connector.






4. Disconnect the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) connector.






5. Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.






6. Disconnect the water temperature electrical sensor.






7. Disconnect the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) electrical connector.






8. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.






9. Disconnect the transmission harness electrical connector.






10. Disconnect the oil pressure sending unit electrical connector.






11. Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connectors.






12. Disconnect the Wide-open A/C Cutoff (WAC) switch electrical connector.






13. Remove the wiring harness from the vehicle.









14. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten to specifications.
