Removal
1. Disconnect both battery ground cables.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove the engine cover.





4. Remove the oil fill tube.
5. Remove the inlet duct, tube and bracket assembly.





6. Disconnect the fuel injector/glow plug nine pin connector.
1. Disconnect the retaining clip.
2. Disconnect the nine pin connector.





7. Remove the valve cover.
1. Remove the 10 bolts.
2. Remove the valve cover.





8. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors and the glow plugs.
1. Disconnect the four electrical leads from the glow plugs.
2. Disconnect the four electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
9. Remove the valve cover gasket.

Installation





1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
