Turbocharger Pedestal

REMOVAL
1. Remove the turbocharger.







2. Disconnect the back pressure solenoid electrical connector.







3. Loosen the exhaust adapter to exhaust inlet manifold bolts.

NOTE: The exhaust inlet manifold must be loose enough to pivot, allowing access to the right rear pedestal mounting bolt.







4. Remove the pedestal mounting bolts.

NOTE: The exhaust inlet manifold shown removed for clarity.

5. Remove the turbocharger pedestal.







6. Remove and discard the O-rings.

NOTE: The exhaust inlet manifold shown removed for clarity.

INSTALLATION












1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order. Install new O-rings.
