Removal





1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Disconnect the front anti-lock brake sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the front disc brake rotor.





4. CAUTION: Clean off debris that may have collected around the front anti-lock brake sensor before removal.

Remove the front anti-lock brake sensor.
1 Remove the front anti-lock brake sensor bolt and discard.
2 Remove the sensor.

Installation








1. CAUTION: Use care not to get dirt in the front hub.

Note: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mile) or more to relearn the strategy.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new front anti-lock brake sensor bolt.
