Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the fuel injection supply manifold. For additional information, refer to Fuel Rail.







2. Remove the six fuel injectors.







3. Inspect and install new O-ring seals if necessary.

NOTE: Lubricate new O-ring seals with Super Premium SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G, to aid installation.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
