Fuel Tank Filler Valve

FUEL TANK FILLER VALVE

REMOVAL
1. Carry out the Pressure Relief - Fuel Tube Venting procedure.







2. Remove the fuel filler valve retaining bolts.







3. Remove the fuel filler valve.
1 Disconnect the high-pressure fuel tube from the fuel filler valve.
2 Remove the fuel filler valve.

INSTALLATION







1. NOTE:
- Replace the fuel tube O-ring seal.
- Lubricate the fuel tube O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.
- When tightening the fuel tubes, a torque wrench adapter must be used with the torque wrench. The use of a torque wrench adapter will alter the effective torque of the torque wrench being used. To correct the effective torque, a torque multiplication conversion must be used.

Install the fuel filler valve.
1 Install the fuel filler valve.
2 Connect the high-pressure fuel tube to the fuel filler valve.







2. Install the fuel filler valve retaining bolts.
