Normal Operation
The parking lamp relay is integral to the smart junction box (SJB). The parking lamp relay coil ground is controlled through circuit 1032 (WH/BK) from the headlamp switch. When the headlamp switch is placed in the PARKING LAMPS ON position, the headlamp switch routes the ground to circuit 57 (BK). When the parking lamp relay coil is energized, voltage is routed through circuits 14 (BN) and 1339 (BK/PK) to the front and rear parking lamps, respectively. Ground for the parking lamps is provided through circuit 57 (BK).
