Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Remove the oil pan.
3. Remove the bolt and the oil pump.
4. Clean and inspect the oil pump assembly.

Installation





1. Clean all the sealing surfaces.
2. Install the oil pump and the bolt.
^ Tighten to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs).
3. Install the oil pan.
4. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
