Normal Operation
The audio unit sends audio signals to the audio amplifier, which amplifies the signals and sends them to the speakers. When the key is turned to START, the audio unit receives voltage on circuit CBP22 (GN/OG). When the audio unit receives this voltage, it mutes the speakers to avoid a popping sound when the key is cycled. The audio amplifier receives voltage through circuit SBB02 (YE/RD), and ground through circuit GD103 (BK/BU).
Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit CBP22 (GN/OG) short to voltage
- Circuit GD103 (BK/BU) open
- Circuit SBB02 (YE/RD) open
- Audio amplifier
- Audio unit
