Removal

WARNING:
- The safety belt pretensioner is a pyrotechnic device. Always wear safety glasses when repairing an air bag equipped vehicle and when handling a safety belt buckle pretensioner or safety belt retractor pretensioner. Never probe a pretensioner electrical connector. Doing so could result in pretensioner or air bag deployment and could result in personal injury.
- To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not use any memory saver devices.

NOTE:
- If a seat equipped with a supplemental restraint system (SRS) component is being serviced, the SRS must be depowered.
- The air bag warning lamp illuminates when the RCM fuse is removed and the ignition switch is ON. This is normal operation and does not indicate a supplemental restraint system (SRS) fault.
- The SRS must be fully operational and free of faults before releasing the vehicle to the customer.

1. Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS).
2. Remove the seat.
3. Remove the 60 percent bench armrest.
4. Remove the 60 percent seat backrest assembly.







5. Remove the seat track spring.







6. Remove the seat track adjust handle.
- Remove one side of the seat track adjust handle at a time.

7. Remove the 4 seat track-to-cushion frame bolts and remove the seat track from the seat cushion frame.
8. Remove the 8 seat track rail-to-seat track nuts and separate the seat track rails from the seat track.

Installation
1. Install the seat track rails to the seat track and install the 8 nuts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

2. Install the seat track and 4 seat track-to-cushion frame bolts.
- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).







3. Install the seat track adjust handle.
- Install one side of the seat track adjust handle at a time.







4. Install the seat track spring.
5. Install the 60 percent seat backrest assembly.
6. Install the 60 percent bench armrest.
7. Install the seat.
8. Repower the SRS.
