Test G: The Non-Dimmable Illumination Is Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST G: THE NON-DIMMABLE ILLUMINATION IS INOPERATIVENormal Operation
When the instrument cluster (IC) senses that the ignition switch is in the ACCESSORY or RUN position, it provides a ground for the accessory delay relay coil through circuit 1332 (LB). The accessory delay relay provides switched voltage to the non-dimmable components through circuit 54 (LG/YE).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Accessory delay relay
- Central junction box (CJB)
- IC
- Audio control module (ACM) (XLT, FX4, Lariat only)
