Test P: The LH/RH Turn Signal Indicator Is Never On

PINPOINT TEST P: THE LH/RH TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR IS NEVER ON

Normal Operation
The LH turn signal indicator receives voltage through circuit 3 (LG/WH) when the LH turn signal is on. The RH turn signal indicator receives voltage through circuit 2 (WH/LB) when the RH turn signal is on. The RH and LH turn signals are grounded through the instrument cluster (IC) bulb ground circuit 57 (BK). When the RH or LH turn signals are selected on, on/off voltage is supplied through the multifunction switch from the turn/hazard flasher relay to the instrument cluster (IC) to flash the RH or LH turn indicator, depending upon the multifunction switch position.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Instrument cluster (IC)
