Transfer Case Shift LeverRemoval and Installation
1. Pry upward on the consolette to release it from the floor clips.
2. Remove the transfer case shift lever in the following sequence.
1 Remove the shift lever boot screws.
^ To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
2 Remove the shift lever cover.
3 Remove the bolt.
^ To install, tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).
4 Remove the shift lever.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
