Test C: Both High Beams Are Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST C: BOTH HIGH BEAMS ARE INOPERATIVENormal Operation
When the multifunction switch is placed in the HIGH BEAM position with the headlamps on, the multifunction switch routes voltage to the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit CLF27 (GN/BN). The SJB then routes voltage to the high beams through circuit CBP14 (VT/OG).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Multifunction switch
- SJB
