RH Splash Shield










RH Exhaust Manifold









1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the 4 nuts and disconnect the dual converter Y-pipe from the exhaust manifolds.

3. Remove the 3 bolts and the RH exhaust manifold heat shield.





4. Remove the 5 pushpins and the RH splash shield.

5. Remove the 8 nuts, the RH exhaust manifold and the 2 gaskets.
- Discard the nuts and the gaskets.

6. Remove and discard the 8 RH exhaust manifold studs.

Installation

1. Inspect the exhaust manifold gasket mating surfaces for flatness.

2. Install 8 new RH exhaust manifold studs.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

3. Position the 2 new gaskets, the RH exhaust manifold and install 8 new nuts finger-tight.

4. Tighten the nuts in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).





5. Position the RH splash shield and install the 5 pushpins.

6. Position the heat shield and install the 3 bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).





7. Connect the dual converter Y-pipe to the exhaust manifolds and install the 4 nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
