Seat Backrest Cover - Third Row

Removal and Installation

NOTE: To remove the RH third row seat backrest trim cover, the LH seat outboard pivot cover must be removed before the RH seat outboard pivot cover can be removed.

LH or RH backrest trim cover

1. Pry to release the clips and remove the LH seat outboard pivot cover.

2. Pry to release the clips and remove the RH seat outboard pivot cover.

3. Pull up on the head restraint, push the head restraint guide button in and remove the head restraint.

4. Release the backrest trim cover lower J-strip, open the trim cover and release the inner J-clips.

5. Remove the pivot bolt.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

6. Invert the backrest trim cover and remove 2 rows of 3 hog rings.

7. NOTE: Head restraint guide with release button goes on the LH side.

Release 2 tabs on each head restraint guide and remove.

8. Remove the backrest trim cover.
- Pull the strap through the trim cover.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
